Four Mile Creek December 2010

There is a story I heard a long time ago about a pastor who became discouraged in his preaching ministry. He studied faithfully the Bible and did his best to proclaim the Word truthfully every Sunday but, in spite of all his best efforts, there seemed to be no results from his preaching. One of the members of his church noticed how desponded he was and ordered a special plaque to be made for the pulpit. The following Sunday the preacher went up to the pulpit to preach and noticed the plaque with the inscription, “Expect a Miracle!”
