I grew up Catholic and went away from the church. As a young adult and parent of small children I had been searching for something and came upon the "Left Behind" series. I finished all the books and finally knew what was missing from my life, God and His plan for my salvation. After getting maried and moving around we ended in Richmond, VA. I brought the kids for daycare and began sporadically attending services. It was not long after that I was baptised and became a youth leader. FMC gave me what I was seeking and so much more.

What makes me glad to be alive:

The smell of fresh cut grass in the summer, or the ocean on a crisp autumn morning, or waking up to the purity of a winter's day, or the way in which the natural world reveals its true self in spring.
