I was baptised at age 12 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Richmond Va. I came from a family that never missed church when I was young. As I got older I went away from the church. I felt something was missing. It was ! I came back to the church as a young adult and have been an active member . Four Mile Creek Baptist Church is like family. I miss it when I'm not there.

What makes me glad to be alive:

The everyday joy of children and their young innocence and their amazement at things that are new to them ! I love it !

The most embarrassing thing I ever did was:

Too many to count !

I believe...

that we are here for a reason. Many times I wonder about my reason for being. I have been involved with children so much all my life. I have to believe that I am here to make a difference in the lives of the children I am around. (almost a hundred a day at work PLUS grandchildren and neices that I love)
